If you already keep your jobs in Google Calendar, Doorvo can read them so you never enter the same work twice. This is available where the Google connection is turned on for your account.
- Open Settings on the website, or My business in the app, and choose “Connect Google Calendar”.
- Allow Doorvo to read your events and your list of calendars. Keep both boxes ticked.
- Choose which calendars to import from, how far ahead (30 days by default), and whether to import only events that have a location (on by default, because jobs have an address).
- Choose “Sync now”. You see a message like “Imported 7 jobs, 2 updated”. After that it syncs by itself about every 15 minutes.
Doorvo only reads. It never creates, changes or deletes anything in your calendar. It does not read event descriptions or the names and emails of attendees.
A change in the calendar updates the job. A job you already started stays as it is. Disconnect any time from the same place: Doorvo’s access at Google is revoked and the stored key is deleted. Jobs already imported stay in Doorvo.
